Meeko - Daycare & Boarding & Pet Taxi
I've been sending my Dalmatian puppy Meeko here for almost a year and she is always super happy to go ("do you want to go to daycare?!" gets many happy tail wags), is super excited to see the staff there or if we see them in our neighborhood, and is happily tired when she comes home. I know Yaz, Emosh and the staff take wonderful care of her, they are very attentive and responsive which makes me feel very confident leaving Meeko in their care. I would definitely recommend NYC Pet Services for doggy daycare!

Tucker - Daycare & Boarding & Pet Taxi
NYC Pet Services is the best! Our dog Tucker has been going there for 3 years, and he still gets excited every time we drop him off. They always take great care of him and he comes home exhausted every single time. We also use them for boarding and it's great to know there's a place we can take him while we're away that keeps him safe and happy, but also wears him out!

Marie - Daycare & Boarding
I've been bringing Marie to NYC Pet Services for two years and I can't imagine taking her anywhere else. Whether she stays there while I'm at work for the day or away for a week, she always comes home happy and most importantly, tired! (this is no small feat for my crazy pup). My favorite thing about NYC Pet Services is that the terrific staff constantly sends pictures of my dog while she's staying there, which gives me peace of mind when I have to leave her for a few days. This is easily the best doggy daycare in NYC!

Dex - Daycare & Boarding
I've been bringing my rescue pup, Dex, since January of this year. He was always very sweet and curious, but incredibly shy his first few months in the city. NYC Pets has been nothing short of incredible in customer service, friendliness, and helping Dex come out of his shell. He goes weekly and has been boarded the few weekends I had to work out of town. I always get a full report of Dex's day(s) and they always let me know of his great milestones. They are also kind to give reminders, send pictures, and give tips/suggestions for training. The staff really love what they do and it shows. I always feel comfortable sending Dex to them; I know he's in the best care. Highly recommend!

He absolutely loves it!! he jumps and scratches outside the door to get in! everyone there has been amazing and very accommodating with my helicopter parent requests. Yaz walked by my puppy on the street one night and called out his name and I have never seen him more excited to see someone before. Yaz has been wonderful with him, even giving me advice on how to brush my puppy and wash him. I know when he's there he is great hands!

Oliver - Daycare & Pet taxi
Our dog, Ollie, has been coming here since he got all his shots and was allowed to play with other pups. He basically RUNS to NYCPS every morning, he's so excited to see his friends (the other pups and staff)! They take good care of him while we're at work and Yaz gives a killer bath! When Ollie gets home he is EXHAUSTED from playing all day. We've also used their drop off service when we need to work later than their normal hours allow. We always get a photo when Ollie gets home safely and they will help us out by giving him his dinner so he can eat at his normal time.

NYC pet services, how I love you so!! This is the ONLY place I will trust with my dog. When I drop him off, he is already whining when we get near because he is so excited to jump out of the car and go inside. He always leaves sooo happy and tired, and I never doubt they're ability to watch over him and keep him safe. I am very picky when it comes to who handles my dog, I won't let my own family walk him most of the time. But this place knows dogs, and they really love them! They go above and beyond, and you can see when they interact with all the dogs how much they are in it for the love of the pups. Also, last year, my dog came down with pancreatitis and almost died, and his care costs thousands of dollars, and Yaz (one of the great staff there) helped me get word out about my gofundme to raise the funds to save him. And she kept checking in with me about it for months. She literally helped save his life. Find another daycare that goes above and beyond like that!! I have to drive almost 45 min sometimes through traffic to bring him here, past many daycare that are much closer to my house but I will not bring him anywhere else. Plus I'm pretty sure my dog prefers being there to being with me lol, that's really how excited he gets when I bring him. On top of all that the prices are great, the place is kept clean, and one year they sent out Christmas cards with all the pups on them! I attached mine to this review. Long live NyC pet services

NYC Pet services is the best. Both of our dogs go there for daycare and are get so excited as soon as we turn the corner, and they know where they are going!
The staff is so friendly and truly loves Kyli and Fleur, and also are very aware of their personalities and their likes and dislikes.
The best part is going to pick them up at the end and they come running out with so much excitement and energy, and then promptly go home and pass out. I cannot recommend them enough

Roux is well socialized, well behaved, and comes home with all her extra energy out! They update us regularly with pictures and videos and even cards at the holidays. When we board her there we doubt she even misses us. NYC Pet Services has become like an extended family to her and us and we wouldn't have a happy dog without them!!

Princess Leia- Boarding & Daycare & Pet Taxi
My pup, Leia, has been going to NYC Pet Services since she was about 3 months old (whenever she got all of her shots). She's now 2 years old. There are times, depending on my husband and my work schedule, that she goes everyday day. She LOVES it there! She pulls me down the block to get there. My pup is very social and just loves all the pups and staff. She's very active, so I love that they have a large open space so she can run and play. She comes home and turns into the sleepiest pup. She also bordes a few nights a month. It's all open- cots, blankets, snuggle fest. There are a few people I'd like to mention: Sam, the owner, has been nothing but wonderful. Chris picks her up and drops her off and Leia is just in love with him! She goes crazy when he knocks on our door. Joyce has always been super nice and attentive. Special shout out to Yaz and her bro Emosh. Yaz has been here from day one. So sweet, but also is very good at training. Yaz is alpha at Pet Services and it's has helped Leia so much. Emosh is a big mush with Leia. They both go above and beyond to make sure she's fed, medicine is administered properly, etc... they text us photos with updates, or post on to Pet Service's Instagram. They are really on top if their game and show every pet so much love. It's a hard job working with animals. You an tell it's truly rewarding for them. I wouldn't want my pup in anyone else's hands. Gambino ( Beans) - Daycare
My dog, Beans, has been going to daycare at NYC Pet Services since he was about 3 months old. He absolutely loves it there. You can tell how excited he gets when we get to the door. He loves playing with his friends and is always a happy, sleepy puppy when we bring him home. The staff is super friendly and the location is great! I work long hours and it helps me get through the day knowing that Beans is having fun at daycare. If you live in Astoria, this is an amazing option for dog parents.

As I drop off my dog, they even offer to take pop bag of I happen to be carrying one making it a smoother process. I take my dog here most days and am always greeted with a smile. The staff here are friendly and seem to care for the dogs they watch over. They even go through the process of wiping your pet down if they get into anything during the day; so you don't get him back smelly. (which is a huge extra in my mind-the last daycare we came from didn't do this and we eventually left because of it) Like many daycares, they screen new dogs in for daycare to see how they interact with other dogs. They also make sure each dog is up to date with their shots so you can be assured your pet will stay in a fun healthy environment. You can really see how much your dog likes a place when you walk them towards it each day. My dog loves it going by how exhausted he is coming back each day and from the Instagram shenanigans we see in their updates!

Mosby - Dog Walking When going back to work full time, I was nervous to leave my one year old maltese in someone else's care. When I met Sam (owner of NYC Pet Services) she was absolutely lovely. She reassured me that not only would she come in every day and walk Mosby, but she would play with him too. Every day she comes to my apartment between 1:30 - 2 and walks Mosby. She has become one of Mosby's favorite people to be around and she is always so caring of him and his needs. She keeps me updated on a weekly basis of how he is doing and she is beyond polite. I fully recommend Sam and all of NYC Pet Services to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and efficient to take care of your pup. Sam is always flexible - if I need to change times on her or if I am running late from work, Sam is always more than compatible and makes time to check on and walk Mosby in the evenings need be. Onion - Boarding
We left our one year old French Bulldog for a week with NYC Pet Services while we took a trip out of town. He can be a handful as he likes to pick everything up and eat it so we were a little worried leaving him but we came back to a healthy dog which is all we could ask for. The team would send us photos every day (as we asked) and updated us on how he was doing. They have a big play area and he was able to play with all the other dogs and have a good time. We brought him in beforehand to make sure he could get along with all the other dogs which is good because I didn't want to leave him with sketchy dogs. All in all, he was well taken care of and I would recommend this place to anyone else. - Adam R. |

Leo - Boarding
I left my seven month pit bull puppy, Leo, overnight for almost a week when I went out of state. Leo was denied by several other boarding services in Queens (simply because of his breed's reputation). NYC Pet Services is pit bull friendly and welcomed Leo. That alone warrants a 5/5 stars. Yay! Samantha and her staff were extremely friendly and professional and walked me through the additional vaccinations and other requirements needed for boarding. During my vacation, they kept me updated during the week and sent me pictures through text. Leo is definitely a handful and his over excitement is an understatement - so kudos to Samantha & staff for keeping up with his puppy energy level. Leo walked out an extremely happy puppy today. Louey - Dog Walking & Boarding
Louey, my yorkie, LOVES Samantha (the owner). He's stayed overnight a few times and Samantha used to walk him regularly before we had to move away from the area. She made it so convenient to pick up and drop off Louey and he really took to her. She was almost always available last minute when I couldn't make it home from work in time. Blue - Boarding & Grooming Samantha and her team are flexible, caring and loving to our dog, Blue. They helped him adjust to being left in a new place and he loves to go there. I was able to work with the owner, Sammy, to get her gradually acclimated to the daycare by leaving her for a few hours one day and then introducing her for a full day of service. Noodles - Boarding Samantha has been dog sitting my Beagle for nearly a year. Her dedication, professionalism and ability to be there whenever something comes up has made her my first choice in dog care. Living in the city and without a car, it is great to be able to depend on Samantha to pick up the dog as I am leaving and drop her off as soon as I am back home. Samantha's dedication even helped me manage my dog's weight problem while I was away. When an urgent work matter left me needing to travel for weeks at a time, I was relieved to have Samantha around to care for my dog. Cheetah - Boarding Samantha has been absolutely great with Cheetah and very accommodating with my bizarre work schedule. She's been watching her for over a year now and due to my hectic work schedule, for about two weeks out of the month a times. I miss Cheetah very much, but it's a large weight off my shoulders knowing that Cheetah is in good hands and I'm always happy that she's happy to be with her friends and get the loving attention she deserves. Aile - Boarding My husband and I recently traveled overseas for ten days. We left our little dog with Samantha for the duration of our trip. We were a little nervous as it was the first time we left our dog for that amount of time. We were delighted to hear and see how happy and comfortable our dog was with Samantha. I was curious throughout our trip to see how our dog was getting on. Samantha was great at keeping in touch with us and even sent us a photograph of our dog who looked very happy. Hugs and kisses are the order of the day for doggies staying with Samantha. Natalia was my first dog and she and Samantha became fast friends. A year later I got Annie and Samantha helped me so much in incorporating the new puppy into society and build good relations to other dogs. When Annie went through her spaying and I needed someone to care for her I could not have asked for any better second mommy. Annie and Natalia love spending time with Sammy and I never have to worry about leaving them. Samantha is very responsive when I travel, indulging me with pics on how well they are when I travel. Cicero - Boarding I can't say enough good things about Samantha. She took excellent care of my giant puppy. He has a pretty serious fear issue and I was reluctant to leave him with a stranger, but in our initial Meet and Greet Samantha just seemed so warm and EXCITED to get to know my dog that I figured I'd give it a chance. By the time I picked him up, it was obvious that he had been treated well and trusted and loved her (he couldn't have cared less that I walked through the door to get him!!!). She is very accommodating - my darling Cicero is over 100 lbs of ill mannered puppy and she had not one negative thing to say about him. She was also able to accommodate a longer stay than anticipated and kept me up to date with a great picture and text messages. Rates are reasonable & she can even pick up your dogs for a small fee each way. My dogs always come back healthy and HAPPY!! Big & Bachi - Boarding For anyone who's thinking of using NYC Pet Services look no further, I left my two Bostons under her care for a month when I went on vacation with my wife. We were encouraged by her to check in with her on a daily basis if we wanted to just to make sure they were okay since it was our first time without our babies. When we came back it was as if they found a second home with all their new doggie companions they made in their stay with NYC Pet Services. Rusty - Boarding
We were very happy with Samantha's service. She took care of our two year old Dachshund, Rusty. We had such peace of mind know that she was taking care of everything for Rusty while we were on vacation. She is very professional and thorough. Whenever I emailed her about how my Rusty was doing, she emailed me back ASAP. When I called her, she was there to answer. I know my Rusty had a good time with the other pups she was also taking care of. Her prices are great and she truly cares for and loves your pets. I recently just move to New York and was so glad I found Samantha and NYC Pet Services! I have a little eight month old puppy and Samantha has just been great with her. I've boarded my puppy with Samantha quite a few times already and everything about the process has been great. Samantha's rates are very affordable, I totally trust her and she is reliable. Harpo - Boarding
I boarded my senior aged Golden/Chow mix with Samantha for six days and am very pleased with the service. As an older dog, he has some special needs, including medication that Samantha attended to with no issues. She was also able to pick him up and drop him off which was incredibly helpful to me. She has a nice space where everyone runs around freely, so no crates ever at night. For a friendly, social dog it's probably a lot like an awesome slumber party with new friends. Her overnight fees are very reasonable and as I mentioned she will pick up and drop off for a small additional fee. I will definitely use her services again. - Carrie A. |

Teddy - Grooming & Daycare
So I came to groom my poodle mix at NYCPS and the groomer was amazing. The owner of the store helped me get my puppy to adapt to playing with other dogs as well (I'm one of those nervous mommy's). The staff is amazing as well. I also went on a weekend vacation and my dog was happy during the stay. He didn't come home all depressed like this one time I took him to another boarding place like Brooklyn. Definitely give them a try, you won't regret it! - Emily |
